These are the terms for using the WAAAUB Qatar Chapter platform. This is a general summary, not legal advice — the chapter will publish counsel-reviewed terms before the platform is used at scale.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or otherwise using this platform, you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts & verification

Access to the alumni registry requires an account and manual verification of your AUB alumni status by the chapter. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and your profile information accurate.

3. Acceptable use

Use the registry, job board, business and services directories, and events respectfully. Don't misuse other members' contact information, post false listings, or use the platform for unrelated commercial spam.

4. Fees

This platform does not charge for membership or process payments. Any chapter membership dues, if applicable, are handled separately by the chapter and are not part of this platform.

5. Termination

Access may be suspended or removed if an account is found to misuse the platform, or if AUB alumni status cannot be verified.

6. Limitation of liability

The platform is provided as a chapter service on an as-is basis. Job posts, business listings, and services entries are submitted by members and are not independently verified beyond the member's alumni status.

7. Governing law

The chapter operates from Qatar; governing law and jurisdiction for these terms will be confirmed with counsel and published here before the platform is used at scale.
