WAAAUB Qatar Chapter | Year in Review (July 2025–June 2026)

As we look back on the past year, we're proud of everything the WAAAUB Qatar Chapter community has achieved together. It has been a challenging year for Lebanon and our region. Despite the uncertainty, we stayed committed to bringing our alumni together and strengthening our community in Qatar. Most importantly, we kept giving back to AUB and its students. What we did together From July 2025 to June 2026, we: • Held 7 social gatherings, including 3 family events, keeping our community connected across generations • Hosted the AUB4Beirut Run 2025 and a teen mental health awareness session • Took part in 2 university fairs, supporting AUB and connecting with prospective students • Launched an initiative to refresh and update our alumni database • Grew our professional network through the WAAAUB Qatar Chapter on LinkedIn • Kept our community informed through Instagram and our Official WhatsApp Community What we achieved together Through these activities and your continued support, we: • Raised funds through our social gatherings to support AUB and its students • More than doubled our fundraising target for the AUB4Beirut Run 2025 • Sent support to AUBMC during the war • Contributed to financial aid for AUB students in need Giving back to AUB students Beyond the events, the real strength of our community is our ability to give back. Every ticket you buy for one of our gatherings is more than a night out, because the proceeds help support AUB students who need it. This year, the WAAAUB Qatar Chapter Endowed Scholarship supported 9 students with financial need. This would not have been possible without you. Looking ahead We remain committed to building a strong, connected and recognized WAAAUB Qatar Chapter, one that brings AUB alumni in Qatar together around a shared purpose.
